To open a My Computer,You can use Window key to open the start menu and then use arrow keys to go to the respective place.
Or
Use Windows+E , it will explore My Computer, and you can select your respective disks from there.
- To open a Notepad, Use Windows+R to open run, and write “notepad” in it. And your notepad windows opens.
- To open Widows Search Menu, Use Windows+F.
- To minimize and maximize a document to the tray,Use Windows+D.
- To lock the Computer,Use Windows+L
- To enjoy the large size writing using magnifier,Just use Windows+U
To get the picture of your Screen, and your computer:
Just use Windows + PrintScreen. This will copy whole desktop, and then you can paste it in Windows paint, and then edit it to get the respected picture.
Using Run:
- To open paint, write ”mspaint” in the run window
- To open internet explorer, write “iexplore” in it
- .To open registry editor, write “Regedit” in it.
- To open Command Prompt, write “cmd” in it.
- To open directX diagnostic tools, write “dxdiag” in it.
- To open a disk, write the repective disk and a colon to follow it.
- To open a word document, write “winword” in it.
- To open an excel document, write “excel” in it.
- To open temp folder, write “%temp%” in it.
Note: The Window is a key, which is present in all new Keyboards, absent from very old keyboards. It is generall present in the last line of keys with keyboard, near Alt key.
Using Ctrl Key:
- To Print a particular document, Use Ctrl+P.
- To save a particular document, use Ctrl+S
- To select the full page, use Ctrl+A
- To undo a particular document, use Ctrl+Z
- To copy a particular document or file, use Ctrl+C
- To cut a particular document or file, use Ctrl+X
- To open the Font window in Word, use Ctrl+D
- To find a particular word or line in a particular word document, use Ctrl+F
- To go to the Goto element of Find & Replace window in a particular word document, use Ctrl+G.
- To open the insert Hyperlink window,. Use Ctrl+K.
- To use bold font, use Ctrl+B.
- To use underline, use Ctrl+U.
- To open a new document, use Ctrl+N.
