How to configure an email in MS Outlook using Microsoft Exchange Server?

1. Make it clear that the email account has already been created in the Domain Server.


2. Then go to Start  Programs  Microsoft Office  MS Outlook 2003(or 2007) click on it.

3. A window will open written Outlook 2003 Start up asking for Next. Click on Next button.

4. Then a window with Account Configuration as heading will come, with two radio button Yes and No. By default Yes will be checked, just click Next button and go to next window. If you’re not ready for the configuration, then click “No”, and proceed further, in which next window with error will be shown.

5. If “Yes” is clicked, then clicked Next, then the next window with heading Email Accounts will come, which has four-five radio button, check Microsoft Exchange Server in it, and click Next.

6. Next window with semi-heading Exchange Server Settings will come. Just give the Exchange Name, suppose Exchange5 it is , and then fill the User Name with the expected email id suppose “asukant”, then click Check Name.

7. A small window will come, then write first the “domain name”, then a /, followed by the email id, making it the format domain name/email id. and type the domain’s password and click Ok,

8. Then a new name will appear in the “User Name”, with an underline below it, and click “Next”.

9. Click “Finish”, and the Email Account is made.
